The first blog is on industrial software and it covers shopfloor reporting systems as well as supply chain management solutions. I know the author of the site and I’m sure the articles/posts will be well done. Industrial software is evolving especially in the light of all the activity on the internet. The internet has brought into existence the invention of Thin Client Systems. Thin Client simply means that the systems are accessed through a web browser. The ability to use a thin system is a real advantage over older systems because the systems can be accessed by anyone anywhere at anytime in relationship to older systems that needed to be installed on your computer.

The other site that I think is worth checking out is a KPI site. KPI stands for Key Performance Indicators and in short it’s a method of rolling up data from a lot of manufacturing systems into a single solution. KPI is not widely used in manufacturing but it really should be and I hope you’ll check out the blog to see why it might be worth investigating.
